I’m Johnfrank

I’m a cinematographer and editor based in Atlanta, and I’ve spent most of my career helping people tell stories that actually mean something.

I’ve worked with national brands, professional sports teams, nonprofits, churches, and organizations around the world. I’ve filmed in some pretty incredible places, but what I’ve learned is that good storytelling usually starts the same way: listening well, asking the right questions, and figuring out what actually matters.

That’s probably my favorite part of what I do.

I love making beautiful images, but I care just as much about why we’re making them. What are we trying to say? Who are we trying to reach? What do we want them to feel, understand, or do afterward?

Sometimes that means stepping into a larger production with a camera in my hands. Sometimes it means taking a project from the first conversation all the way through the final edit.

Either way, I want to make something we’re both proud to put our names on. Hyphen or no hyphen.
