There’s something special about a crash edit.

You spend a few days capturing a conference as it happens, then race against the clock to turn those moments into a finished film that gets shown to the same people you’ve been filming before the event is even over.

I created five of these during my time working with FCCI from 2020 to 2025, and this one, from their 2023 conference, is probably my favorite.

There’s nothing quite like sitting in the room on the final night and watching people experience something you were still filming just hours earlier.
